Two 7" 16:9 widescreen LCD monitors were custom mounted into the
factory headrests. The screens are fully switchable so one can show a
movie while the other shows PlayStation 2, vice versa, or both the
same.
Custom headrest covers were made to fit the unique design of the
Volvo headrests.
Each screen has mounted controls in case you lose the remote and a
unique IR for it's wireless headphone.
Headrest covers help deter theft.
Under the driver's seat we mounted a Sony PlayStation 2. When the
seat is at it's normal position, only the very front of the PS2 is exposed.
Under the front passenger seat we mounted a DVD player. Again, when
the seat is at it's normal position, only the very front of the DVD player
is exposed.
Sound is played through the vehicle's sound system via a wired FM
modulator.
